Import sales receipt (desktop)

Can someone advise how to import sales receipts (Premier 2013 desktop edition) please?  I read in one post in this QB community that it's not available, yet on another post it is available?  

 

Is there a workaround apart from data entry into QB manually which is time consuming?  Thank you!

Hello Elaine, We don't have a video for batch import of sales receipts you can batch import in our pro version invoices, deposits, credit memo, and bills and cheques but there is not a sales receipt option. The version you have is not compatible with the batch import option. It would be a case of adding manually.

There are ways to import data in QuickBooks Desktop. You can use CSV files, MS Excel, or Intuit Interchange Format (IIF) files.

Is there a video that you can share, or step by step guide with screenshots for this purpose?  It's guessing work by reading the information via the links that you shared, it didn't look anywhere close when I did testing for import.  Thank you.
