In new using quickbooks and I’m trying to send an invoice on the phone app. I keep getting a message up saying ‘The transaction date is in a period that’s now closed’

Please sign-in on the web browser to check that you don't have the 'close the books' feature set to a future date - you can view this by selecting the Cog > Accounts & settings > Advanced > Accounting > Close the books.
