Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise V17.0

I was able to customize the email body for the emails sending invoices to clients.  However, QB attaches a block of text at the top of the email, showing the inoice number, due date, and amount due.

How do I turn that off?

Good day, AlexMack.

We can customize the email template when sending the invoice so we can remove the invoice number, due date, and amount due. These are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click Send Forms and select Company Preferences.
  3. Under Email Templates drop-down, select the Invoices.
  4. Locate and select the invoice template you're using and click on Edit.
  5. On the Edit Email Template window, modify the content of your email.
  6. Hit Save once done.

If you want to replace the invoice number, due date, or amount due to a different data, you can simply click on Insert Field drop-down. From there, you'll see all details that you can automatically add to your emails.

I have an article here if you need help in recording an invoice payment
