Invoice has disappeared!

Let's find out why your invoice has disappeared so you can get back to business.

 

First off, let's use the Advanced Search feature to locate the disappeared invoice. Here's how:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Online (QBO), click the Magnifying Glass.
  2. Click the Advanced Search option.
  3. Adjust the filters to find the type of data you want.
  4. Select Search. Then, check if you can find the invoice from there.

 

If you can't still see the invoice, you can run the Audit Log report to check if someone deleted the invoice. Let me guide you how.

 

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Audit Log.
  2. Adjust the filters to the appropriate UserDate, or Events to narrow the results.
  3. Then, verify if the invoice was deleted. If it was deleted, you need to recreate the invoice. 

 

You might also want to view all your sales transactions made in QBO. You can go to the Sales menu and select All Sales.
