Question

Is anyone else finding that you now can't upload receipts/invoices from emails anymore?Everytime I try and do it, it now turns the camera on to take a photo.

Let me share some insights on how uploading your receipts and bills works in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Chris.

There are different ways how to upload your receipts and bills from suppliers. We can do it from your computer, mobile device, or email account. It seems you email your expense receipts and bills to get them into QBO. With this process, you'll need to take a photo or picture of it and send it to us. If you want to email the receipts, we can follow the steps below:

  1. Take a picture of your bill or receipt on your mobile device. The photo's file type must be a pdf, jpeg, jpg, gif, or png.
  2. Let's make sure each image or file contains only one receipt.
  3. Email the image to your custom email address @qbodocs.com. It may take a few minutes to send. You can send multiple receipt images in one email. The email attachment's file size must be between 46KB to 20 MB.
