Is it normal for receipt uploads to take over 8 hours?

I uploaded a bunch of receipts about 8 hours ago and they are still pending. It said it would take a few minutes. Is this normal?

This is unusual, creaturecandles-.

 

When uploading receipts, QuickBooks Online can take up to 15 minutes to process them.  The program extracts the receipts' important details and uses them to locate matching information recorded in the system. 

 

To rectify this, let's access your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This is a good place to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

 

If the receipts show, let's clear the cache of the browser you're using. Every so often the cache can cause performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate.
