Yes, it is, @jpc4.

 

Uploading receipts is an option you can opt for to save more time tracking and recording your transactions. It allows QuickBooks to extract information from it and create the transaction for you. Thus, uploading this is optional.

i thought it was now a requirement from hmrc to upload the recipts now?

It's still optional, @jpc4. 

 

Uploading receipts in HMRC isn't required. Otherwise, you can keep them for future purposes.
