Is it possible to bring thru onto an invoice the description that is in the customer sub catogory that you are creating the invoice against (without manualy entering) ?

We are involved in construction working nationally so the client list is hierarchical Client - Site - Job, when creating an invoice against the job there seems to be no way of bringing this description thru unless manually entered !

You're only able to bring descriptions from the customer sub-category to the invoice by manually entering it.

 

QuickBooks is constantly changing and evolving based largely on the suggestions and requests of users like yourself. While printing receipts without going through individual invoices is not an option, I want you to get in the loop about the latest news and product developments in QuickBooks.
