I've got the steps to batch-edit expense transactions, rukhsana.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advanced lets you change multiple transactions at once. You can use the reclassify tool to save time. However, there are certain types of transactions you can't move

Follow these steps to reclassify transactions:

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to Settings and click Reclassify transactions.

Next, in Reclassify Transactions

  1. From the Account types dropdown, click Profit and loss to see income and expense accounts. Or, select Balance sheet to see your asset, liability, and equity accounts.
  2. From the Account list, select the account with the transactions you want to change.
  3. Use the type, class, customer/supplier name, and modify filters to filter the list.
  4. Select Find transactions.
  5. Select the checkbox for each transaction you want to change.
  6. Select Reclassify.
  7. Select a new account to move the transactions from the Change account to dropdown or a new class from Change class to dropdown. Click Apply when you're ready.

Moreover, I'll add this article to help you remove or undo transactions if you've reconciled a transaction by mistake: Undo or remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.

Comment below if you need further assistance managing your expense transactions. I'll be around. Have a nice day!
