Question

Is it possible to get your quickbooks invoice delivered by email? Or even better, just posted quickbooks? Surely it's not the only invoice I need to manually download.

Welcome to the Community forum, @jamie11_2. I'm here to help you with sending invoices through email in QuickBooks Online.

 

Yes, you can email invoices. I’ll be glad to walk you through the process. 

 

  1. Go to the +New button and select Invoice.
  2. Choose your customer from the Customer ▼ dropdown. Ensure to input their correct email address on the Customer Email.
  3. Enter the necessary information.
  4. Hit Save and send to email the invoice to your customer.

You can also send the invoice later, share a link of it to your customer, or use WhatsApp. For more information, see this article: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Hi,

 

Thanks for the response, however I don't want to send invoices I have created by email.

 

I want to receive the invoices that Intuit generate for my payments for the Quickbooks service to my email as a pdf, rather than the HTML receipt that is sent.

 

At the moment I download the invoices from within the app, but most of my other invoices come to my email and are automatically sorted, backed up and sent to Quickbooks.

 

This is hopefully just an option somewhere I am missing?

Hello Jamie-cardnocrea, thanks for coming back to us here, if you are referring to the invoices relating to your subscription, emailed to you as a PFD, then this is not possible to do so. They should be available to you within the product so you can view them.
