Is it possible to post receipt of a paid invoice to an income stream within the Chart of Accounts, rather than all income going to just one Sales account? Thank you.

You can change the income account of the product or service that is used in the invoice,finance55. 

Once changed, income from these services and items will be posted in account you've selected instead of the default sales account. Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon and select Products and Services.
2. Look for the service or item and click the Edit link under the Action column.
3. Go to the drop-down list for Income account and select the account that you want or create a new one. 
4. Click Save and close.
