Is it possible to set up scheduled recurring invoices with a "review and pay" button?

When setting up the templates as unscheduled, they have the option of "Accept Card Payments with PayPal" ticked but this doesn't show on scheduled templates.

Let's get this sorted out, @info1487.

Both scheduled or unscheduled recurring invoices should have an option to accept payments via PayPal. Since the option is missing upon creating scheduled recurring invoices, let's try performing some troubleshooting steps to get this fix.

There are times that the browser stores frequently-accessed data, thus causing QuickBooks Online (QBO), to act weirdly. Let's try logging in to your QBO account using a private browser.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N on your keyboard for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox
  • Press Command + Shift + N for Safari.

Once logged in, go back and try to create a scheduled recurring invoice again to double-check. For more guidance, feel free to check out this article: How to create a recurring invoice and manage recurring transactions.

If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh.

If they get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.

Just in case you want to change a recurring transaction template, you can read this article for the detailed steps and information: Edit a recurring template.

Keep in touch if you need any more assistance creating recurring transactions, or there's something else I can do for you. I've got your back. Have a good one.
