Yes, @bost1. It's possible to include product images to your invoices or estimates as attachments in QuickBooks Online (QBO), and I'd be glad to help you accomplish this.
Providing your customers with a visual of your products is easy when you include pictures of them on your sales forms. It can be done in QBO by utilizing the Attachment feature in your invoices or estimates. Please see the steps below:
Go to + New.
Select Invoice/Estimate and fill out the fields as you see fit.
On the Attachments section, click on the box to add a document. You may also drag/drop files to easily attach them to your sales form.
Click Save and Close.
Please note that the maximum size for attachments is 20 MB.
To mark an invoice as paid, you'll have to enter the payment you received from the customer in QBO. Otherwise, the invoice is still listed in your reports as open.
Keep in touch if you still have questions concerning invoices. The Community is here to help 24/7, even on holidays. Take care, @bost1, and have a great rest of the day!
I was hoping it was possible to have the images pasted inside the actual form (invoice or estimate) in a separate column. Ideally, they would be drawn from products section where I can see the images can be added and shown. This isn't possible?
We want the same feature. This would be key to the things we sell so people could "see" what we're pricing out for them.
The ability to show your products and services images within sales formsis unavailable, savancellc. This feature would be the key to the things you sell, and we appreciate your input. We'll forward this request to our product development team for future consideration.
Please know that our product developers are diligently enhancing user experience, and including images for your products when creating sales forms could significantly improve sales transactions. I recommend sharing your thoughts and suggestions with our development team so that they can consider this in upcoming updates.
Here's how to submit a feedback within QBO:
Sign in to your QBO account.
Go to the Settings icon.
Select Feedback.
Enter your product suggestions.
Click Next to submit.
While waiting for potential product enhancements, consider adding your product images in the Attachments section within your sales forms.
Your input is vital in shaping the future of QuickBooks. Let me know if you have other questions about managing sales transactions, and I'll get back to you right away.
