Question

Is there a way to change the left margin on my printed cheques? The person's name is being printed over top of the "Pay" text on my cheque.

Yes, there is, @accounting431.

I've got scenarios and ways on how to modify the margin of your cheques in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you're referring to regular cheques, you can download the latest version of Adobe Reader or update it, if you're already using it. This can fix printing issues because QBO depends on it. When you're ready, set it as the default PDF viewer for your browser.

Then, adjust the cheques and print them again using the same steps you normally use.

On the other hand, if you're referring to payroll cheques, you can refer to this article for the troubleshooting steps: Fix alignment for pre-printed cheques.

If you wish to review all the cheques you've created and other info like date, payee, and its amount, then the Check Detail report is a good fit. To pull up this report, you can go to the Reports menu, and then select it from the Expenses and suppliers section. Please see the screenshot below for visual guide:

You can count on me if you have more questions about managing cheques in QuickBooks Online. Take care and have a nice day, @accounting431.
