Ive just joined quick books and it has synced with my bank account but only transactions for 2019/20 tax year . How do i get it to add transactions for 2018/19?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the QuickBooks Online Community. 

You can import transactions as far back as you need to using our import tool for bank date (Cog Wheel > Import tool > Bank data). 

You'll need to download a statement of transactions from your bank first and save this as a CSV file - the file should contain three or four columns (date, description, and amount or credit and debit values), you can see how this should look here. 

Once imported, the transactions will appear in the For-Review tab of the bank account to review and add/match as usual.
