Batch processing helps simplify your tasks, making it easier to handle and organize transactions and users, usersuzanneflux. This is beneficial for businesses with multiple locations or departments.

You can add a location to your existing expenses and bills in QuickBooks Online Accountant and Advanced all at once. The Reclassify Transactions tool is a great way to simplify this task.

Here’s an overview of how to do it:

1. Open QuickBooks Online Accountant or Advanced.
2. Navigate to the Accountant tools or Gear icon ⚙ in Advanced and select Reclassify transactions.
3. From the Account types drop-down, select Profit and loss or Balance sheet.
4. Filter the transactions you want to update by using the type, class, customer/vendor, and modify filters.
5. Tick the box for each transaction you want to change.
6. Select Reclassify.
7. To add the location, click the Change location to dropdown ▼ and pick the one you wish to use for the transactions.
8. When you’re ready, select Apply.
