Why do some transactions not always show up in the "match transaction" list when I try to match to a bank transaction?

I’m here to share information regarding the transactions that don’t show up when trying to match them in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

 

There are a few reasons why a particular transaction does not show up when you’re matching your transactions using the Find Match feature. Here are some of the reasons why:

 

  • The dates and amounts don’t match.
  • The payment has been reconciled.
  • Issue within the multicurrency exchange rates
  • It has already been matched.
  • Transaction may be older than six months.
  • The payment's bank account and the match's bank account are different.
