Hi there, @ijjoineryservice.

Can you share with me the error message your accountant is getting when accessing the past banking transactions?

They should be able to access all of the available features in QuickBooks including your past transactions. They have additional privileges that allow them to undo entire reconciliations, reclassify transactions and write off invoices.

Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product. This can be the reason why they're unable to access the bank transactions dated before June 2020.

Let me share with you some basic troubleshooting steps that will help you fix this right away.

First, ask them to access their account using a private window. This mode doesn't record any activity on your local device. Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

If they're able to see the past transactions, then they can go back to their regular browser and clear its cache. They can also use other supported browsers if the issue persists. This might be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.

In case you need additional references while managing your transactions or working with QuickBooks in the future, feel free to read our help articles.

Please let me know how if this fixes the problem. I'll be here to provide further help. Have a great rest of the day.
