My bank account won't connect to the app so my invoices don't show my account details for me to get paid

I want to make sure you can successfully connect your bank to QuickBooks Onlne. To best assist you, may I ask a few questions to narrow this down? 

  • Are you getting an error message when trying to connect? 
  • Has this bank been connected before? 
  • What bank are you using? 

In the meantime, let's try some basic troubleshooting steps, like clearing the cache from your browser and trying an incognito window. Web browsers collect cache (cookies) to save you time when loading data and images, which can cause similar issues such as bank accounts not connecting. 

 

Here are the shortcut keys: 

  • Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Internet Explorer)
  • Command + Shift + N (Safari)

If it works fine, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can follow the steps in this article: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
