Question

My estimate/quote is being received/appearing within an email firstly as a very crude and basic form and followed by the customised and intended version. Why is this?

Hello @simonkinser-gmai,

Let's perform a few troubleshooting steps to determine why your estimates template looks crude after sending them to your customers in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To start with, let's consider sending the same estimate into your email to check how the template looks like. If it looks neat on the email you received, let your customers log in to their QBO account using a private or incognito browser so we can isolate this issue. To do so:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If this works, you can clear your regular browser's cache so the system can start fresh. But if they get the same results while using a private browser, let them use a different browser app instead.

However, if the estimate template doesn't look good on the email you received, let's customise and change the template before sending the estimate to your customers.

Additionally, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Sales and Customers for QuickBooks Online.
