Question

My huge list of transactions need associating to projects and others don't. How can I be sure that I've captured all costs? There is no clue which have been allocated.

The transaction list doesn't show which ones I've processed - and which ones I need to do or worse case, which ones I've completely missed out.   How can I be confident that I've allocated everything??

Hi barron-j-paul

 

You could run a transaction list by customer, select customise, select filter and then your project will be listed under the customer option, you will then be able to establish which transactions are allocated to a project.

Thanks for your reply John C.  It didn't quite do what I wanted, but it pointed me in the right direction.  This is what I did:

In the project summary, I clicked on 'Cost of Goods Sold' and then Customise and then selected 'Not Specified' in the Customer filter.  This produces a list of transactions that haven't been allocated to a customer/project.  Just what I needed!
