My invoices are not showing as sent, but my clients are receiving them - how can I rectify this?

Invoices are sending but not showing as sent. Getting confusing as I am sending the same invoice multiple times. I also am unsure how this will affect matching payments to invoices.

I'd also feel the same if my invoices were showing as undelivered, @userdave2

 

Rest assured, I’m here to share some details that can help you with this email delivery issue encountered in QuickBooks Online. 

 

Currently, we've received reports that some users are having the same concern with invoices that show as undelivered when they have been sent. Our engineering team has been working on a fix. 

 

In the meantime, I suggest reaching out to our contact support team. This way, they'll add you to the list of affected users and notify you via email for updates.

 

Here’s how you can reach out to them: 

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner and click Talk to a human.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click it.
  4. Select Get help from a human.
  5. Choose between Chat with usSchedule an appointment, or Have us call you.

 

Please know that you can always check our available hours when contacting our support to ensure we address your concern on time. 

 

Alternatively, you'll want to manually download the invoices and send them to your clients using your email provider outside of QuickBooks. Here’s how: 

 

  1. Go to the Sales tab, then click Invoices.
  2. Check the invoices you want to download.
  3. Click the Batch actions button, then select Print.
  4. On the PDF preview screen, click the Download button.
  5. Save the invoices as PDF, then use your email provider to send them to your clients.
