My invoices have disappeared. How do I get them back

Let me help you retrieve the missing invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO), liambkr.

We can use the Advanced Search feature to locate the disappeared invoice. Just follow the 

1. Click the Magnifying Glass.
2. Tap the Advanced Search option.
3. Adjust the filters to find the type of data you want.
4. Hit Search. Then, check if you can find the invoice from there.

If you can't still see the invoice, we can run the Audit Log report to see if it was deleted. Let me guide you on how: 

1. Click the Gear icon, then select Audit Log.
2. Adjust the filters to the appropriate User, Date, or Events to narrow the results.
3. Then, verify if the invoice was deleted. If it was deleted, you need to recreate the invoice. 

If it was deleted, the option to restore it is unavailable. However, using the Audit Log, you can recover the details of the deleted transaction so you can re-enter it. Here's how: 

1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu. 
2. Select Audit Log.
3. From the Filter dropdown menu, choose the appropriate user, date, and event(s).
4. Tap Apply.
5. Locate the deleted transaction. To easily find deleted transactions, use the browser search Ctrl + F and type "deleted".
6. Under the History column, press View. Then, all the information needed for the transaction can be found under the Event column.
7. Using the information from the Audit log, re-enter the transaction with its original transaction date.

You might also want to view all your sales transactions in QBO. Just go to the Sales menu and select All Sales.
