Question

My suppliers list is no longer accessible when I try to add an expense although I can see it in settings. If I click into a supplier there it says something went wrong?

Hi there, @Loubielu.

Let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to access your supplier lists.

To start, log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account utilizing a private browser or incognito mode to verify if this is a browser-related issue. Since this doesn't store cache files, that causes odd behavior in a web-based program. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Then, access the supplier list. If this works, clear the cache of your regular browser to remove accumulated data. If the issue persists, use another supported browser or device. It might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.

You might want to perform a refund credit to your supplier. Feel free to read this article: Enter supplier credits and refunds in QuickBooks Online.

For more questions about managing your supplier's list or transaction, don't hesitate to come back here. Have a good one.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.

This only works on the lap top.

When I access through the App on my phone (so I can take a photo of the receipt) they suppliers aren't there.

But if I try and set them up again it says that the supplier already exists.

Hello Fa1911, can you try fully uninstalling the app and reinstalling it again and see if that then resolves it for you.
