New to QB. Why when I send an invoice it does not give the recipient my payment details. Or pay now option?

Welcome to the Community. I'll take care of your query about processing online payments in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @ecoreachireland-.

You'll need to enable the Online Payments feature in QBSE so you can send invoices that your customers can pay online. This option is available on the Invoice page itself.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Invoices tab. 
2. Select Create invoice.
3. Scroll down and look for the Ways to Pay section, then tap Activate Payments.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to proceed.
