Question

Not all of my transactions have been pulled through from Etsy correctly? Its missed out some of the Payment Processing Fees. Ive tried to manually add them but I only seem to be able to attribute them to a cash account - not the Etsy account?

Welcome back to QuickBooks Community, nikki-thenatural.

Welcome back to QuickBooks Community. I'll provide some details about Etsy transactions that imported in QuickBooks Self Employed. Then, how manually entered entries work in the system.

The downloaded data in QuickBooks Self Employed depends on what Etsy shares with us and how they're posted online. That said, I suggest contacting their Phone Support team to verify the specific entries that will sync to QBSE. They can also check the cause of why some of your transactions are not imported correctly in QuickBooks.

On the other hand, transactions that are manually entered in QuickBooks Self-Employed would automatically be recorded under the Cash account. For now, you can use the tagging feature instead so you can tag each entry with any information that will help you identify the item. Please follow the steps below.

1. Click the Gear icon at the top. Then choose Labs.

2. Select Tagging and toggle the Turn it on button.

3. Click on Add Tags in the Transaction page under the Category and Tags column.

4. Enter your tagging information in the Tags field.

5. Hit the Save button.

Please refer to this article to see different information on how QBSE works and how QuickBooks tracks everything throughout the year: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview.

Keep me in the loop if you need a hand with running reports or any QBSE related. I'm always here to help.
