Question

On my mobile app when I match a payment received with an invoice I get "match not accepted, please use desktop". Which kind of negates usefulness of app. Ideas to fix?

I appreciate your time in reaching out to us about the error, Richard. I have some information to help with your concern about online banking.

You can categorize, match, and accept bank transactions using the QBO mobile app. Here's an article that lists all available features in the app: Compare Mobile App Features.

However, I noticed that there is an ongoing investigation (INV-99548) regarding an error that occurs when using the match function in the mobile app. Our engineers are already working on identifying the cause of the issue and resolving it.

To stay updated on the progress of this issue, I suggest reaching out to our support teams. They can add you to the list of affected users and provide you with email updates as soon as the issue is fixed.

Please go to this article for steps on how to reach out to them: QuickBooks Online Support.

While our team works to resolve this issue, I recommend using the QuickBooks Online web version to match your payments and invoices as a workaround. Here's the link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/.

Thank you for being patient with us while we work to resolve this issue for you, Richard. Don't hesitate to reach out to us again if you need more help when working in QBO.
