Our invoice footer contains our vat number. How can we prevent the vat number also appearing under our address in the body of the invoice?

If it is a vatable transaction then the vat registration will show on the invoice the only way this would not be on the invoice is if you used the NO VAT code on the invoice as it pulls automatically from the settings for the invoice template.

There is the option to create your own template and upload it into QuickBooks Online you could then when uploading and mapping up not map anything to the box for VAT registration number and just have it in footer text.It would have to be in a doc x format more information on how to turn on this feature and create the form are at this link
