P&L shows some invoices twice. These are associated when an invoice started as an estimate. How do I resolve?

The problem is that certain invoices are shown twice and so it falsely increasing the turnover.  There was only one payment.  How to resolve?

Let's fix the double invoices on your Profit and Loss report, @john-metalitest-.

We'll have to locate the duplicate invoice with no estimate and payment and delete it. This process ensures the income on your Profit and Loss Report will show the correct figures. We can open the Invoice list report to find the invoice.

Let me show you how:

  1. On your QBO account, click Reports in the left menu.
  2. On the search bar, type Invoice list and click on it to open.
  3. Set the Report period and other filters.
  4. Click Run report.
  5. Locate the duplicate invoice and click on the date link to open it.
  6. On the invoice page, click More at the bottom.
  7. Select Delete, then Yes to confirm.

Once done, open the Profit and Loss report again and see if it no longer shows the invoices twice.
