Welcome to the Community, @jessica-whitmore. I have a solution to make sure the payment button on your invoice email works to allow your clients pay you online in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

This corrupted or a damaged webpage can sometimes be caused by the browser's collection of data over time from frequent page visits. I'd recommend reaching out to your clients and let them isolate this matter.

To do this, encourage them pull up your invoice email using a private browser. Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

If they're allowed to pay or the payment button works, let them return to their default browser and clear their cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. You'll want to share this article for the step-by-step guide: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

If the issue continues, encourage them to use other supported browser or mobile device.

Then, to help you monitor your invoices in QBO, I'd recommend pulling up the Invoices and Received Payments and Open Invoices reports. You can do this by going to the Who owes you section from the Reports menu's Standard tab.

Also, to further guide you in managing your company's income and clients account using QBO, I would encourage you to check out one of our Help pages: QuickBooks Sales and Customers Support. It includes topics about managing client's invoices and payments and customising sales forms, to name a few.

I'll be here to help you out again if you have other invoice concerns or questions about managing sales and income transactions in QBO. Reply or post a new thread and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
