Product/Service Link to Income account & P&L report

Hi. I have invoices being charged to products/services which were linked to the wrong income account. I have corrected the income account link but the P&L report still shows the sales on the wrong account.

 

Does anyone know how this works and how to fix

Hello Davidm1956heswall, 

 

Welcome to the Community page,

 

 What you will need to do is 

 

so in the actual product and service you will need to click on edit and then check where the income account is and then you can edit it and you can then click on update historical transactions and it will post to an account of your choice. Each product and service can have the corresponding account in the Chart of Account to post to.
