QB Self-employed: Category for lunch expenses, hand tools expenses, PPE expenses?

Hi, I am new to QB Self-employed and I am stuck with simple expenses such as lunch expenses, hand tools expenses, PPE expenses? These are all business expenses and I have looked at the documentation but it only talks about 'entertainment' which a lunch is not. It should be simple. At the HMRC website it is clear. So where are the right categories?

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

So you can put the lunch down as meal and entertainment but it will be disallowable and you can out the PPE and hand tools expenses down as office supplies/equipment. Here is a link to help you as well. If still not sure with those categories we advise you speak to a trained and qualified accountant.
