Quickbooks not working properly in Chrome

I've ocassionally had problems with Quickbooks not working in Chrome previously. For example I will go to enter a bill and click on it but it wont load. Usually I close down Chrome and log back in and its fixed. Now every time I log into QBO in Chrome, it loads as normal but I go to enter a bill or an invoice, or view an old invoice and it does nothing. You click on it and it doesn't load. I've deleted cookies, deleted history, closed everythning down and logged back in but still the same. Its becoming really really annoying. Short of changing my brower to Edge which I don't want to do as I use Chrome for everything else, I'm not sure what to do. I load it in Edge and have no problems whatsoever so it must be related to Chrome. And I don't want to go in view private browsing either so please don't suggest this as a solution ;-)

Clearing cache and using another supported browser or incognito is an excellent alternative. I appreciate you for doing that, @collyerconstruction. 

 

I have other troubleshooting steps so you can access your QuickBooks account using Google Chrome without any problem. 

 

Ensure that your Google Chrome is version 78 or newer. This way, you have the best experience when using QuickBooks Online. To check the version, follow the steps below: 

 

  1. Open your Google Chrome on your computer and click the three dots on the upper right side. 
  2. Select Help and choose About Google Chrome. 
  3. Google Chrome will auto-update if you're using an old version. 
  4. Hit Relaunch to refresh it. 

 

Once done, re-open your invoice or bill to verify if it's already performing well.
