Quickbooks Online - classes

Someone's been a bit lazy and where there should only be one class for something they have created several: eg

10 High Street

10 High St

10 Highstreet

 

Is there a way to quickly amend all postings so that only the first class is used? Is it as simple as just changing the class name of the worng classes to the correct name? Or is it more complicated?

Hi Jon, thanks for posting on the Community.

 

You can easily merge classes by changing the name of one class to be the same as another. To do this, click the Cog > All lists > Classes > Select the drop-down beside the class you want to merge > Edit > In the name field, enter the name of the class you want to keep. A pop-up will then appear to confirm the merge. 🙂
