Quickbooks Self Employed UK Splitting Transactions

This online software is so buggy. I am trying to split transactions and have had this problem in the past.

 

It states I can split a payment via amount and not percentage. However whenever I click on some transactions to split the payment the only option I get is by percentage, there is no option or dropdown to select amount.

 

No matter what I do, different browser, computer etc.. I get the same issue, no dropdown to select amount.

 

Anyone know a fix for this please.

I can see how confusing it is for you when you're told that you can split transactions by amount but you're unable to do so, @Zimmo. No worries, I'm here to help you achieve that and be able to keep going with your QuickBooks tasks.

 

I've replicated your scenario here on my end and was able to successfully split a transaction by amount. I've included a screenshot for your reference:

 

 

 

Since you've already tried doing it using another browser and computer which I truly appreciate, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Technical Support Team so they'll be able to look into this further and look into your account securely using their tools. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon then select Contact Us.
  2. Enter "talk to a human" then select Continue.
  3. Choose either Have us call you or Chat with us.

 

Be sure to contact them within their business hours to get assistance right away.
