Receipts for review does not work properly in the windows ap. When you go to review a receipt, qb prompts you to download it & save receipt to your computer?

Let perform some troubleshooting steps to fix the app so you can review transactions, jenny19.

 

You'll want to make sure that you've updated the Windows app so you'll not encounter issues. If it's updated, you can reset app data to ensure all the cache, settings and data will be wiped off. To do this, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Select Help.
  2. Choose Reset App Data.

You'll also want to uninstall the app if resetting it does not fix the issue. 

Windows 10

  1. Select the Start menu.
  2. Go to Settings, then select System.
  3. From the left pane, select Apps features.
  4. Choose QuickBooks Windows app then select the Uninstall button.

Windows 8.1 and 7

  1. Select the Start menu.
  2. Go to Control Panel then select Programs.
  3. Under Programs and Features, select Uninstall a program.
  4. Choose QuickBooks Windows app then select the Uninstall button.

Once done, you can reinstall the app. Here's how:

  1. Double-click the file you downloaded to launch the installer.
  2. Select Next, then choose Agree & Install.
  3. Wait for the installer to run the rest of the way through.
  4. Select Finish.
