HI,

I removed my bank account by mistake from quick book. I have lost a lot of my receipts. Is there any way my account can be rolled to before I’ve done this ?

Hello there, SafeHands. I completely understand how challenging it can be to deal with lost records and receipts. Let’s work together to get this sorted out.

Please note that it's not possible to roll back your account to a specific past date. However, you can regain access to your bank transactions and receipts by relinking your bank account and manually adding the receipts.

Here's how to re-link the bank account:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
  2. Select Connect account.
  3. Choose your bank and click Let’s go
  4. Review the terms and conditions and select Agree
  5. Select Sign in and enter your online banking credentials. Then, follow the steps to connect to your bank. Your bank may require additional security checks and may take a few minutes to connect.
  6. Select the account you want to share with QuickBooks, such as savings, current, or credit card.
  7. Select Connect, and then Done.

Please refer to this article for more details: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks.

Next, let's now upload your receipts:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Receipts.
  2. Drag the supported files in the field or click Select files to choose from your computer's document.
  3. You can then match the receipts to their respective transactions.

Once you've reconnected and uploaded everything, please ensure to reconcile your accounts to keep them accurate and up-to-date.
