Recurring Invoice Bug?

Has this issue been fixed yet, please?

 

1. Create a recurring invoice
2. Once sent, go to Invoices, open the invoice, then Close
3. See the invoice in the list... there's no longer arrows/wheel indicating it's a recurring invoice :(
4. Go to All Recurring Invoices and the recurring invoice no longer exists

5. Panic

Do you get any error messages about the transactions not being able to be created before they create on the scheduled date? Is there any shipping added on the recurring invoices that are disappearing after working once? Are these new templates or previously existing ones? Are they monthly invoices or another period of time? Thanks

No - invoice is created, sent/email, and customer paid.

No shipping.

They existed and were actioned + paid.

 

>Are they monthly invoices or another period of time?<<

Yearly.

 

Apparently, your devs are aware of the issue, spoke to your colleague a day or two ago. This is worrying because many users will probably miss this issue and therefore be losing invoices and recurring money.

Thank you for requesting updates on Recurring transactions inconsistencies : Incorrect prompt under the dashboard and transactions not creating on the scheduled date. While we haven’t resolved this unexpected behavior yet, here is the most recent information:

 

Current Status:

Fix scheduled to be released Oct 5th 2021.
