Redo categorization at bank feeds - QB Desktop Enterprise

I need to move the transaction added to register by mistake back to Unrecognized to start over. Thank you.

Thanks for bringing your question forward here in the Community. I'd be glad to show you how to redo the categorization in your QuickBooks Desktop bank feed.

 

Instead of moving the transaction to the unrecognized section, you can go into the register and edit the categorization. Here's how:

 

1. Click the Banking tab in the top menu.

2. Select Use Register.

3. Choose the correct account and click OK.

4. Locate the transaction and select the Edit Transaction button at the top of the page.

5. Make any necessary changes and click Save when you're finished.
