Question

Should it not be possible for transactions to be split by location, since it is possible with class? Is there a setting to activate this somewhere in the software? TIA

Attempt to improve financial analysis when preparing management accounts to include location cost as well as class (cost centres). The head office for the company often makes bulk purchases for its satellite office locations (for the sake of cost efficiencies etc).

It's a great idea you have there, @dale-churchillsl.

 

I recognize the benefit of being able to split transactions by location. However, this is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

This would be a great time to send this suggestion to our Product Developers so they can review it and might be able to add this option in future product enhancements.

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your feedback Suggestion.
  3. Press Next.
