Since the software upgrade, I cannot find the "save and send" function for invoices: can anyone help?

Hey there, graham. I'm here to assist you with your concern regarding the 'save and send' function for QBO invoices.

 

In the updated invoice layout, you'll notice the Review and send option, which serves the same purpose as the previous layout's Save and send feature.

 

However, if you're unable to see it on your end, a cache-related issue is likely causing that function to be missing.

 

When cache builds up, it can affect the performance of your browsing activities. Consider accessing QuickBooks through an incognito window or private browser to address this. This mode doesn't retain your browsing history, occasionally leading to software issues like encountering errors or missing options. You can use these shortcut keys as a reference:

 

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift P for Firefox
  • Control Option +if you're using Safari

 

When it's now visible, return to the regular browser and clear the cache. This removes any historical data resulting in unusual browser behaviors. Switching to a different supported browser can also fix the issue.
