Supplier not showing on drop down list or when typing name into a bill

I have created a new supplier but when I create a stock item this new supplier is not appearing in the drop down list or when I type their name.  The supplier is showing in the supplier list though.  It is the same when I go to enter a bill to

 

Any ideas?

 Currently, there’s an open investigation about being unable to search the newly created suppliers. Please know that our software engineers are actively working to resolve the issue.

 

I suggest contacting our Customer Care team to get added to a list of affected users. This allows you to receive updates via email about this investigation.

 

Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Select Contact Support Team.
  4. Type again Talk to a human and click Contact Support Team.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us.
