Hi, I had a tax rebate paid into my business account, which category do I put this under please so that I don't get taxed on it as an additional income? Thank you

Hello. You can categorize it as a Transfer so it doesn't get taxed as additional income, Laura. However, I highly recommend consulting your tax advisor to verify this category. They are the ones who can provide accurate information about applying categories.
 

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Self-Employed and go the Transactions tab.
  2. Find the transaction where the tax rebate was deposited into your business account.
  3. Click on the transaction.
  4. Review the category in the Category column.
