The reconciliation feature on QuickBooks online is not working for me

I have entered my transactions for the month and want to reconcile the account. I have entered the ending balance, ending date and details of charges, but when I click on "Start reconciling", it doesn't move onto the next screen with the list of transactions - but stays on the same screen. Can anyone explain why this happening and how to rectify it? Thanks.

Since you've mentioned that you already entered the ending balance, ending date as well as the details of charges yet it won't move as you click the Start reconciling option, I recommend contacting our online support since it turns out that there's an investigation regarding with these and contacting them would be the best option. In addition, they can add you as one of the impacted users and may give you some information or a workaround. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. In your QBO account, select Help (?)
  2. Choose the Search tab.
  3. At the bottom of your screen, click Contact Us.  
  4. Type your concern. Then click Continue
  5. You may choose CallbackAppointment, or Chat as your way to connect with us. 
  6. Kindly fill out the provided field such as your First nameLast nameEmail address, and Phone number. 
  7. Depending on what you choose as your way to connect with us, click CallbackSchedule an appointment, or Chat.

Furthermore, you can also print a reconciliation report and use it if you have trouble reconciling the following month and when you meet with your accountant.
