Transactions not shown on a weekend

I have noticed that transactions will not show on weekends. Today for example, Saturday, Ive taken a few hundred quid and transactions are not showing (and I've manually refreshed bank). Not normally an annoyance but its end of month and not helping with my monthly record. Will it appear as a Monday transaction now? (in this case, part of next month)

Will Quickbooks really not update on a weekend? is that still a thing

QuickBooks usually downloads the latest transactions each night automatically. Some may update the entries 2-3 times a week instead. If this is your first time connecting your bank account, the program will download the recent transactions from the last 90 days. However, this still depends on your financial institution. 

 

Since you're done manually refreshing the connection of your bank, I now recommend checking their website to verify if there are any maintenance issues. Once signed in, review if there are messages, notifications, or alerts that you need to take action on. They can block QuickBooks from downloading new entries.

 

If you still can't see the transactions, you can reach out to your bank's support team for further assistance. 

 

On the other hand, you can manually import your bank transactions to QBSE via CSV file. When finished, you'll now need to categorise them to match the lines in your Schedule C.
