Hello, Emma.

I understand how challenging it can be when you're unable to upload your historical transactions. Let’s work together to solve the issue, so you can get back to managing your finances efficiently.

When you try to upload your CSV file, do any error messages pop up? It would be helpful to know any specific details to provide an accurate solution for resolving the issue.

Let's perform a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Ensure the CSV file follows the correct format with the necessary columns: Date, Description, and Amount. Additionally, verify that there are no special characters in the file, as these can create issues during the upload process.

Once done, re-upload the file using a private or incognito browser window. This approach helps avoid using cached data and disables extensions, guaranteeing you access to the most current data from Intuit's servers when visiting QuickBooks pages.

If you upload your transactions successfully, consider clearing the browser's cache. If that doesn't work, try using another browser to determine if the issue is specific to the one you're currently using.

Once the transactions are uploaded, you can classify them to guarantee they are allocated to the appropriate category.

If you run into any more issues with managing transactions or have other questions, drop them in the comments, Emma. We're dedicated to ensuring you have a great experience with QuickBooks Self-Employed.
