I can’t upload receipts on my transactions in QB Self employed.  It doesn’t highlight where it says “attach receipt”.  Any help please?

I'm here to help share how you're able to upload receipts, @AE6017.

There are times that your browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, thus causing websites, like QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), to act weirdly. And can be the reason why you're unable to upload receipts for your expense transactions.

Therefore, let's consider logging into your QBSE account using a private browser. Here's how to use a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P
  • Edge: Ctrl Shift + N

If this works, it means you need to clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh and you're now able to upload receipts while categorizing your expenses. But if you get the same result while using a private browser, let's switch to different supported browsers instead.

I'm adding this reference with a compilation of articles that'll help you while working with your expenses and banking transactions: Banking in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
