We keep having issues with QBO randomly signing us out whilst we're actively using it.It's so frustrating. Anyone know why this is happening, or having the same issue?

Let's go to the Account and Settings page to check your account timeout preference and perform some troubleshooting steps so you won't get interrupted while using QuickBooks Online (QBO).

QuickBooks uses a timeout feature that helps prevent an unauthorized individual from accessing your data. You can change the timeout duration according to your preference. Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Choose Account and settings.
3. Select the Advanced menu.
4. Scroll down to the Other Preferences section.
5. Click the Edit or Pencil icon.
6. In the Sign me out if inactive for drop-down, select 1, 2, or 3 hours.
7. Click Save, then Done.

When you're done, you can perform some troubleshooting steps. Sometimes, corrupted or damaged webpage data can cause performance issues while using the QBO system.

You can start fixing this issue by pulling up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

• Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
• Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
• Control + Option + P (Safari)

Once signed in, go ahead and use QBO and perform your usual tasks. 

If you're able to do so without interruption, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This refreshes the system and removes older data that causes viewing and performance issues. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
