Could you provide us with more information on what exactly you are wanting or trying to do in your Quickbooks in regards to receipts please.

Hi Ashleigh1, thank you for responding. I am a trying to get my head round all the things I can do on Quickbooks as I'm pretty a dinosaur! I used to give my accountant a wad of ordered receipts but I have now discovered all I have to do is photograph them! Brilliant!

But do I need to link the receipt to the expense somehow? Or just leave it at that?

Hello Peacocks, Yes you can now upload receipts into QuickBooks Online either directly into the banking>receuipts as a computer upload from a downloaded photo or by using the QuickBooks Onlione app on your phone more information on how to do both are included here  There's also an option of setting up receipt forwarding here and that is an option where you can bulk send all the receipt photos and the transactions will be manually entered for you it just needs to be set up first, the steps of which are in the second link.
