Hi @Vikki400. Great to see you in the Community. I can share some details on what will happen to your uploaded receipts when you cancel your subscription to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You have read-only access to your data for one year from the date of cancellation. It includes the uploaded receipts.

You can check those linked expenses receipts on the Attachments page and the pending ones on the Receipts page. It's also possible to download it for documentation purposes. I'd be happy to show you the steps below:

For Pending Receipts:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Receipts.
  3. Review the receipt.
  4. Right-click on the receipt and select Save image as.

For the linked Receipts:

  1. Open Settings and select Attachments.
  2. Review the receipts.
  3. Click Download on the receipt you wish to save.
  4. Right-click on the image and select Save image as.

I've included this article for more information about your data after canceling your subscription: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?

Moreover, you can download your data from your QuickBooks account for future use. You can read this article to look up your transactions and save your reports: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online

Please let us know if you have other concerns. The Community and I will be around to help. Take care!

Thanks, does that mean I have to download each receipt separately?

I'm chiming in, @Vikki400.

Yes, to get a copy of those receipts, you'll have to manually click on each transaction and see the attachments to be able to download them. This way, you'll have everything you need for your documentation.

Additionally, I've got you this article to help you manage your data in QuickBooks Online: Export data, reports, lists, and more from QuickBooks Online.
